The leaked image above (click it to embiggen) comes from NeoGAF poster LyleLanley. The hub banner is supposedly from Game Informer.
The cover game for last month’s issue of Game Informer was The Last of Us. The magazine always lines those covers up with news and information hubs on their site. So, any The Last of Us story that runs on the gaming blog for Game Informer would include an image that links to the hub at its base. Check this piece, for instance.
The hub image that leaked above is more than likely what will connect next issue’s cover game (we’re guessing it’s bound to be Assassin’s Creed III) to the news on the mag’s site.
This, of course, comes after we just posted a leaked image from Best Buy by way of Kotaku that showed essentially the same art style, Native American and 18th century America. If you want to see that image, check the post.
Confirmed? Not yet. But the evidence that this series will see its fiction cross the Atlantic this fall is piling up pretty high.
Ubisoft, according to the aforementioned leak from Kotaku, will be announcing Assassin’s Creed III on March 5th. If that happens, we’ll have it.
